This is my first post in this blog so I’m going to explain just the basics of how everything is going to work. I’m going to be posting daily tutorials, articles, reviews and more. Now I’m quite aware that not many people are going to be visiting this website all the time. At least not right away. I really want this blog to be successful. I think I’ll be able to learn a lot while working on it. I also know how hard it is for people who want to get good at matte painting, 3d modeling, visualization, rendering etc. and how hard it is to even start doing it. Hopefully, I’m going to be able to help.
Here’s what I’m going to be posting regularly:
My main thing is going to be posting things from which you can learn. Obviously, I’m not going to be able to write daily tutorials, but I’m going to be sharing the ones I’m learning from. The tutorials I’m going to be writing, I’m gonna try to do them as regularly as I can.
For starters, I’m going to be posting a matte painting tutorial that I wrote. it’s going to feature how to blend two images and how to create rain. I’m going to be showing some of my most frequent techniques that I’m using in photoshop as a whole as well as when I’m retouching a render image.
The second thing I’ll be doing is a Vray lighting tutorial in 3DS max. I’ll make an interior scene and then show you all my lighting and rendering settings. I’ll also add a quick post-production process in photoshop.
I’ll be sharing many articles such as news about the world of CGI, Graphic Design, Art, Movies and so on. I also plan to write my own thoughts about many of these matters. I’ll probably try doing reviews, mostly about movies. If the people reading this like it then I’ll be featuring it more regularly.
I’m going to be posting daily quotes as well as links to other artists, paintings, videos and more.
Everyone likes free stuff. Even if they’re not going to be using it. So the idea is that I’m going to be sharing free 3ds max scenes, materials, and models. I still haven’t decided on the platform I’m going to be using to do so, but I’m sure things will catch up quickly.
For starters, I’m going to be doing a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS which will be available for download probably around the end of the week.
So, I’m interested to know, what do you want me to do? This blog is still pretty much in development so I’ll appreciate all the help I can get. Please, follow me in my social links and come back anytime!
